Serving currently on our elder committee, Richard Smith is one that we love dearly here at Southern Plains. If you are looking for a conversation steeped in wisdom and faith he's your man. For over 57 years Richard and Sherrell have been married with nearly forty years invested in the ministry of the Gospel. As a United States Veteran, Richard proudly served his country and with some help from Sherrell, raised a family on the foundation of their faith. This legacy of faith and family is shown by the presence of not just this couple but also their children who are involved in our congregation as well.
